About the Creative Skills Training Council

The Creative Skills Training Council, Asia Pacific and Australia is a not for profit members only on-line community of practice and knowledge that has been formed in response to international interest in the development of creativity as a prime driver in business, government policy and communities.

Introduction

There is recognition that in the knowledge industry era, creativity and the ability to be able implement it, is the key to maintaining the wealth and prosperity for the common good the world has developed over the last 50 years. Governments around the world are developing policy initiatives to assist in educating for creativity and whilst there are many theories about what creativity is and how it operates, there are relatively few educational courses and training programmes devoted to it.
