Steve Brodie is a Materials Scientist with a flair and passion for creativity and innovation. Following his education and research initiation at Leeds University he spent the early part of his career as a Research Scientist, working in four countries in Europe developing new advanced electronic materials.
Steve then travelled to Australia where he worked for many years at BHP's Corporate Research Laboratories developing advanced materials. Whilst with BHP, his continued to share his passion for creativity and innovation by developing and delivering creative thinking workshops and innovation systems.
Most recently, Steve has been working in Academia in the area of commercialisation and innovation and taught entreprenurship to Master's level science students. Currently Steve is working at the University of New South Wales, in Sydney, as Director - Industry Partnerships, where he is working hard to explore the power of partnerships in the development of innovations.
