    SYLLAB COMMUNICATION TRAINING INTERVENTION INC.

    Sylvie is a internatonal seasoned trainer, speaker, facilitator, coach and consultant.

    She has her Ph.D. in creative leadership from Montréal University. Her research was on the process of learning of creativity and innovation for the organisational leader. She interviewed 19 CEO’s and designed an integrative model.

    Sylvie is an innovation coach and designs and facilitates custom presentations with diverse clienteles: women entrepreneurs, communicators, leaders, etc.

    She designed a course on Sowing Creativity, Reaping Innovation! And a questionnaire on creativity climate and culture.

    She is part of the continuing education faculty for her creativity and her leadership course.

    She intervenes at the individual, team and organizational levels, from a learning, facilitation, change management, cultures, strategy, etc. viewpoints. She uses questionnaires on styles, climate, etc.

    Sylvie is certified by Edward de Bono to teaching and facilitating the Six Thinking Hats.This program of thought management makes it possible to capture the full power of parallel thinking and thus explore new problem-solving methods and discover new opportunities.

    She is also certified by Edward de Bono to teaching and facilitating Lateral Thinking, which are structured and systematic tools covering all aspects of the creative thinking process.

    She was ane adjunct at Montréal University on the Creative Process in Education.

    She was a leader to the Creative-Problem Solving Institute, Buffalo (N.Y) for de Bono creative thinking tools. She was also invited as a speaker to the Innovation congress in Indianapolis (IN).She is a member of the board of the Canadian Creativity Network.

    Her clients are : senior and intermediate public civil servants, Alcan, CSST, Reader’s Digest, CIDA, Shell Canada, Mouvement Québécois de la Qualité, Hydro-Québec, ACSEE, Dominion Textile, LGS, National Bank, Corporation Cinéplex Odeon, Bank of Montreal, Scotia Bank, Aetna, Noranda, QUNO, IREQ, IMS Canada Lts, Coop Plus, Bristol-Myers Squibb, ABB Bomem Inc.l etc.

    In more details, for the federal government, she did : DND, Justice Department, Pêches et Océans, Heritage Canada, Atlantic Middle Managers Conference, PWGCS and the Canadian Center for Management Development, le Conseil fédéral du Québec et le Conseil fédéral du Québec en technologies de l’information, etc.

    She is certified in the Human Synergistics Integrated Technologies.

    She is associated to Can*Speak and the National Speakers Bureau.

    She was assistant director at the Dobson Lagassé Centre for Entrepreneurship at Bishop’s University where she teached Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. She also teached Human Performance Technology at Montréal University at the graduate level and the Creative Process in Education.

    She was also an adjunct professor at Écoles des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal where she teaches Leadership and the Practice of Management and Behavior in the organisation.

    She is now an adjunct at Laval University where she teaches Leadership and Mobilisation

    She has an undergraduate degree from McGill University in Business and Industrial Trainer Development as well as another one from Laval University in Finance and Insurance and an MBA in International Finance from Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal.

    She adores to learn: going at NTL, New Zealand, Omega Institute, etc. and, naturally, her own way. For example, she followed the course “The Art of Leading Creatively” from the Center for Creative Leadership and “Creative Leadership”, from Auckland University.
